Armor Sets Guide

OO Cat’s 1.0 announcement states each class has 15 different sets, providing a variety of powerful effects, and that most sets include affixes that alter skill forms. The store repeats 15 unique armor sets for every class. That is the entire official set manifesto. This page will not invent Inferno Master, Blade Dancer, Marksman, Death Commander, 2-piece +10% Fire Damage, or 5–7 piece thresholds. Open the set UI in-game for real names, piece counts, and bonuses.

Version 1.0 launched August 26, 2026. 1.0.1 (August 27) did not add a sixteenth set line; it fixed salvage, sort, XP, controllers, and respec. There is no trading and no MTX set shop. You farm your own pieces on map-tied drop tables.

Why sets matter in 1.0

Skill-form changes are the interesting half of the 370-plus skill pool. A set that alters how a skill behaves can matter more than a raw stat on a non-set legendary. Combine that with weapon-granted skills (about 2,400) and five affix categories (Weapon Affixes) and you get the hybrid loop: find a form change, spend unlimited late-game points to support it, then Paragon after 100.

Each class has exactly three talent trees. Sets do not unlock a fourth class tree. They do not let a Sorcerer wear a Holy Warrior-only set if the tooltip forbids it. Official identities remain elemental magic, dual blades, precision, and demons and skeletons.

How to collect without a fake drop table

Play the seven chapters and 160 maps in order. Drops follow the map, not your level (Leveling). Standing on an early map will not complete a late-game set. After the Demon Lord, Greater Rifts (Normal / Master / Nightmare / Inferno) improve rare odds and extra affix rolls — useful when you are filling the last pieces, not a published “set dungeon.”

Treasure Sprites pick up pieces and salvage junk. Keep anything that shows set progress. 1.0.1 fixed auto salvage so you do not accidentally eat a set item if the toggle was broken at launch — still check the salvage filter in-game (Loot Filter). Unlimited warehouse pages mean you can bank off-class or off-tree pieces for a future respec (Inventory). Respec exists; 1.0.1 fixed pinnacle talents that failed to clear.

Reforging may help a close piece. Steam news does not say reforging converts one set into another. Do not plan a cube recipe this wiki will not write.

Mystic Dungeon Challenges are store-listed. Community videos show Random Challenge Scrolls. Treat mystic as another place sets can drop, not as the only source.

Class lens

  • Sorcerer — look for form changes that support elemental pack clear. Watch the official Mage skill-tree showcase for how trees look; set names still come from the client.
  • Holy Warrior — dual-blade form changes. English store name is Holy Warrior; some videos say Paladin. Same class.
  • Archer — precision form changes. Launch-week tier list may rank pack clear behind the Sorcerer; sets can move that feel.
  • Necromancer — form changes that support demons and skeletons, plus summon-related weapon grants.

Future classes (Assassin, Engineer, Barbarian, Warlock) are announced and free; they are not in the 15-set-per-current-class count.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about Shadow Dungeon.

How many armor sets does each class have?

Fifteen unique sets per class, per Steam and the 1.0 announcement. Most include affixes that alter skill forms. Piece bonuses are in the client, not in a fan 2/3/4/5 table on this page.

Can I mix pieces from different sets?

You can equip any pieces the client allows. Set bonuses only count matching pieces. This wiki does not invent a dual-set breakpoint chart.

Should I finish a set with bad affixes?

If the skill-form change is what you actually play, finishing the set can beat a pile of unmatched stats. If the tooltip form change is irrelevant, keep the better individual pieces. Read the bonus in-game.

Where do set pieces drop?

On the maps you run. Drops follow the map. Greater Rifts improve rare odds after the story. There is no trading and no published set vendor.

Do future classes get sets in 1.0?

Assassin, Engineer, Barbarian, and Warlock are announced future free classes. Launch 1.0 counts 15 sets for each of the four current classes only.
